John and Sue were married at St Alban's Church, Westcliff-on-sea, Essex on 5th August 1989.
John was born in Rochford, Essex and is a Chartered Certified Accountant who has worked for Carreras Rothmans cigarette manufacturers (1972-1985) and First Data International (formerly Access) a credit card processing firm (1985-2002). In February 2002 John took early retirement.
Sue was born in Bath and is a qualified B.Ed teacher (Exeter University St Luke's College) who has also taken early retirement. She had full time posts in local primary schools in the Southend-on-sea area.
After a brave 5 year battle against Leukaemia, Sue passed away Christmas Day 2016, certain in the knowledge that she was unconditionally loved and having achieved so much in 2016.
