JOHN AND SUE AT PORTMEIRION AND IRONBRIDGE NOVEMBER 2005 |
Back to John and Sue's Home Page
We
went to Portmeirion in North Wales for a week commencing
14th November. We stayed at the Watch House and had a very relaxing time which included good food
and lovely walks and a short train ride.
Then we went to Ironbridge on 21st November for a 5 day stay and had John's Cousin Paul, who lives in nearby Bridgnorth, come and stay with us. We had a wonderful time with Paul whose knowledge of the history of the area is outstanding. We stayed at Ironbridge House which is owned by the Landmark Trust and had magnificent views of the Iron Bridge. We also visited some nearby museums and Shrewsbury. |
